This notice explains how personal data is processed on Ogiday (https://ogiday.com), in line with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

What data we process

  • When you comment: the name you enter (a nickname is fine) and the comment text.
  • When you comment: a one-way hash of your IP address. Your raw IP address is not stored in the database; the hash is only used to limit abuse (spam).
  • When you watch a video: view counts are kept only as anonymous totals.
  • Technical logs: the server and hosting infrastructure may keep connection logs (IP address, date/time, requested page) for security and troubleshooting.

No account is needed to use the site, and we do not ask for your full name, phone number or ID number.

Purposes and legal grounds

Data is processed to provide comments, prevent spam and abuse, keep the site secure and meet legal obligations, based on the legitimate interest of the data controller and compliance with legal obligations (KVKK Article 5/2 (f) and (ç)).

Transfers

Your personal data is not sold or shared for advertising. It may only be shared with the hosting provider and, upon request, with authorised public authorities, limited to the purposes above.

Retention

Comments stay online until you or the administrator delete them. Technical logs are kept for the periods required by law and deleted afterwards.

Your rights (KVKK Article 11)

  • Learn whether your data is processed and request information about it,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
  • Know the third parties to whom it is transferred,
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, or deletion where applicable,
  • Request that third parties be notified of these actions,
  • Object to outcomes against you resulting from automated analysis,
  • Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
